This level is tailored for upper beginners who:

• Know dates, times, days, weeks, years, and numbers
• Can ask for things and express likes, dislikes, wants, and unwants
• Understand い adjectives and な adjectives
• Are familiar with the です and ます forms
• Can construct basic sentences like "これはペンです" and "すしをたべます"
• Know simple phrases and questions

This is not for you if:

• You have no understanding of hiragana and katakana
